Calling all Owners of the Harbour Co-op!

When asked whether or not the community wanted to purchase Lyttel Piko and transform it into a multi-stakeholder co-op, the response was an overwhelming YES. Now that we have all made this a reality, it is time for us to get together and determine the direction of our business: our goals, dreams and hopes for our future.

Come to Naval Point on Saturday, 15th September 4:00 - 5:30 with a shared supper to follow.

While the agenda will largely be determined at the meeting, we will all come away having an elected board of directors, knowing the business' key staff members, having had a look at the results from our first quarter of trading, and having determined the key direction(s) for our business to take in this first year.

We are privileged to have a gifted facilitator, Manfred Friedrich, joining us at this meeting and we will be utilising his skills of Dynamic Governance (aka Sociocracy), in order to help everyone to have their voice heard.

We are now accepting all applications and nominations for board members - please send these to membership@harbourcoop.co.nz within the next week to be included in the voting paperwork the week prior to the meeting. If you are unable to attend the meeting, you may send a proxy to vote on your behalf, provided that you inform us of the person's name in writing 48 hours prior to the meeting.

Please bring along your ideas and open minds - and if you’d like to stay for a shared supper, then also a dish to pass. Families and guests welcome.
