Busy, busy, busy

Since my last update, we have met with the lawyer twice, as well as having another steering committee meeting.

Our constitution has been ratified and passed on to the lawyer to submit along with our co-op registration.

And we have a group of the steering committee who have committed to becoming the initial board of directors. So things are progressing along nicely, in terms of getting the co-op registered.

One thing that has come up though is the requirement for us to have a registered prospectus and investment statement before we can accept anyone's membership applications. The creation of these documents is underway now, but unfortunately, due to the legal requirements related to registered prospectuses, this is going to delay the start of our membership drive for another 2 weeks.
