We have contacted The Press regarding an inaccurate statement in this article. In the article, it is stated that "the profit made by the co-op would be given back to the investor-customers through discounts and rebates." It is stated in our prospectus that in our first two years of business all profits will go towards paying off the balance of the purchase of Lyttel Piko to Te Whanau Trust. We may offer rebates and discounts in the future but these will be subject to the financial position of the business and profits may also be used to support other co-op objectives. Please view our prospectus for details.
